What is in the B-Selfie DEEP TENSOR Package?
There are 2 pre-measured and disposable 5 mL syringes, 1 sterile head with 0.5mm micro-needles for intraepidermal delivery and 1 nozzle applicator for topical application.
How is B-Selfie DEEP TENSOR applied?
1) Cleanse your face with micellar water or regular water and make sure your skin is perfectly clean.
2) Disinfect the skin to be treated using an alcohol-based disinfectant.
3) Take the sterile head out of its packaging and screw it onto the syringe.
4) Remove the cap that protects the micro-needles and press the plunger of the syringe until you see a small amount of serum come out of the micro-needles.
5) Place the syringe vertically on the skin to be treated, applying light pressure, and press the plunger once.
6) Lift the syringe and reposition it next to the previously treated point, repeating the operation. Continue like this for the entire surface to be treated.
7) When you have used up the first syringe, put the cap back on the head, unscrew it and put it back on the second syringe; remove the cap again and continue the treatment.
8) With well cleansed and disinfected hands, distribute the serum that was left on the skin, tapping with the fingertips until completely absorbed.
Can I put on makeup immediately after the treatment?
No. For the first 24 hours, avoid applying makeup products, especially foundation and powder products. The intraepidermal application using the microneedles present on the sterile head is a minimally invasive procedure which induces controlled lesions which trigger a skin response, characterized by the release of growth factors which lead to the synthesis of a new collagen-rich tissue. After treatment with DEEP, if the skin has micro-lesions caused by repeated punctures of microneedles, it is not recommended to apply any makeup product as the micro-holes would be blocked by these substances and infections could occur. It is important that the skin breathes and regenerates adequately until it is completely healed.
What are the microneedles made of?
The microneedles of the DEEP head are made of SUS 304 stainless steel. This material is commonly used in the medical field for making surgical instruments and trial instruments, as well as in orthopaedics, orthodontics and dentistry, due to its resistance to corrosion, to its correct bio-mechanical behaviour, and to a favorable bio-affinity. Among the components of SUS 304 stainless steel are activated carbon, amorphous silicon powder, colloidal manganese, phosphorus, sulfur, nickel element, nitrogen, chromium and iron. The microneedles have been subjected to several tests to evaluate their safety, including the cytotoxicity test based on the agar diffusion methodology which found that there is no toxic effect. The quantity of potentially toxic ions released is well below the maximum quantities declared within the safety limits, as well as the threshold value normally absorbed with the daily diet; therefore, microneedles do not pose a threat to health or negatively affect facial tissue.
How long do the treatment results last?
The treatment consolidates after three to four days from the first application and keeps for

Does DEEP TENSOR serum contain nickel?
The serum contained within the pre-dosed syringes does not contain nickel. However, the composition of the micro-needles, which allow the serum to penetrate the epidermis, does contain a small percentage of nickel. For those with a nickel allergy, we only recommend topical application with the plastic nozzle inside the pack. Furthermore, the micro-needle head being sterilised and hermetically sealed, any contamination with the other components inside the package is excluded.
Is B-Selfie DEEP TENSOR suitable for sensitive skin?
B-Selfie DEEP TENSOR is a safe product that contains no irritants and suitable for all skin types.
In the case of particularly sensitive skin, there may be a slightly more
temporary redness due to the use of the microneedle head. We recommend using a face mask for soothing the skin post treatment. Inquire with live support and they can recommend the mask to use.
Is B-Selfie DEEP TENSOR serum tested on animals?
NO: The safety of the final formula, ingredients or combinations of ingredients used in DEEP TENSOR serum is guaranteed through alternative methods that do not involve the use of animals to conduct the tests.
Can B-Selfie DEEP TENSOR be used on other body parts?
No. The epidermis has different thicknesses and different characteristics depending on the different areas of the body. Therefore using B-SELFIE DEEP TENSOR by delivering the product through the head with microneedles to parts of the body other than the face, neck and décolleté may be unsuitable or even harmful. The intra-epidermal treatment B-SELFIE DEEP TENSOR has been specially developed to treat specific areas of the face, neck and décolleté.
